Bharti Airtel Launched a 16 Mbps wireline broadband connection in India. Airtel plans to roll out 16Mbps wireline broadband in Delhi, Chennai, and Bangaluru in the first phase.Later, it will extend to other cities like Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. The Airtel 16 Mbps broadband service is powered by Airtel’s carrier ethernet network. The company delivers its broadband service to customers through a fibre backbone of Carrier Ethernet Network with last mile delivery on copper using ADSL2+ technology. According to K Srinivas, Joint President, Telemedia Services, Bharti Airtel  “Airtel has constantly strived to innovate and deliver high quality products to its broadband customers. We are the leading private broadband service provider in the country and pioneered 8 Mbps broadband. It gives us great pleasure now to be able to introduce the fastest, wired broadband service on DSL. We will be able to offer 16 Mbps broadband to 70% of the households in the 3 cities of Delhi NCR, Chennai and Bangalore.”

Wow that’s amazing i m going for Speed Combo 2999. Wait, If i calculate i can consume my limit in first 4 hours then what will i do rest of month??? I do go for a recharge of 2999 for next day and my monthly bill is about 1 lakh not so bad i can afford it { Joking i m not an Ambani even Ambani will also think twice }
