Apple just released a minor update that fixes minor problems of iOS 5.1 such as camera issue and some bugs. This is the complete list:

Improved performance of the camera to HDR photos taken directly from the lock screen.
Fixed a bug that prevented the iPad changed properly between 2G and 3G networks.
Fixed a bug that affected AirPlay playback.
Improved behavior in the synchronization and Reading List from Safari for OS X and Safari for IOS
Fixed a bug that displayed an alert "buy wrong" in the App Store after it is carried out …

Following the launch of The New iPad, Apple is expected to launch next generation iPhone in WWDC’12. We do not know how Apple might call its next smartphone. It may be a simple "new iPhone" or perhaps continue the numbering and see an iPhone 5. Whatever its name is, Apple is trying to acquire domains that refer directly to their products, namely, the Cupertino giants are trying to grab control of the domain iPhone5.com. Their legal team filed a complaint with the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization ).

GEVEY Ultra 5.1 to Unlock iPhone 4, 4S with iOS 5.1

SAM is updated to Unlock your iPhone more easily

SAM, the Cydia application that allows us to unlock any iPhone model with any version of iOS has been upgraded. Latest release made the whole unlocking procedure much easier. Now you just have to insert the SIM that you want to use, which does not correspond to the original operator of your iPhone, select the original operator of your iPhone in SAM, access to the “Utils” and click “Try Activation.” that’s it, your iPhone will operate with the unofficial SIM you have inserted.

Pod2G, one of the most active members of jailbreak community has announced current situation of iOS 5.1 untethered jailbreak. It seems that he and his team have all the exploits needed to develop new solutions to jailbreak. Now teams trying to bypass the ASLR ( Address Space Layout Randomization ), a tool consisting of placing certain key parts of the system at random position and was introduced with iOS 4.3 as extra security tool to prevent the jailbreak.

Apple is testing an iPhone with A5X processor

According to reports on 9to5Mac, Apple is testing a prototype of a new iPhone. This prototype is mounted with a variant of A5X processor, which is already present in the new iPad and suppose that will have less power consumption to extend the autonomy of the device as possible. It makes little sense to put the A5X on an iPhone when that processor is born only to move the new iPad Retinal Display with ease.

The beta version of iOS 5.1 has been circulating among developers, but we had not yet heard about the Golden Master, until today. In the beta release there was no indication that the IOS 5.1 would be released in  March. Today ChronicWire finally said that the beta of iPhone OS 5.1 has reached Golden Master status, and today we may see the announcement of immediate availability of iOS 5.1 Golden Master.

The iPhone Dev Team has posted a word of wisdom to potential jailbreakers to stay away for the time being.

Apple has announced that it has reached a staggering 25 billion downloads from the App Store. To celebrate, Apple dodged a check for $ 10,000 to spend on iTunes Store to the person to succeed in meeting the magic number of downloads. iPhone Dev Team has released a new version of redsn0w, version 0.9.10 beta 5 to fix critical iBooks issue with jailbroken devices. Redsn0w beta 5 is now available and can be applied through a patch or fix. A member of the Dev Team said that in 10% of cases iBooks does not display content protected by copyright but the new version of redsn0w solve this problem. Unfortunately an update to Corona was not released so you have to use redsn0w patch to implement.
