Post installation you will also notice that Windows defender is disabled and downloading the Software takes less time then updating it to the latest version. Microsoft Security Essentials is a free* download from Microsoft that is simple to install, easy to use, and always kept up to date so you can be assured your PC is protected by the latest technology. It’s easy to tell if your PC is secure

Microsoft Security Essentials has one of the simplest and clearest GUIs I have seen for an anti- virus. When everything is running as it should, MSE makes sure users know all is well, with a green-colored highlighting across the UI and via a green taskbar icon. When something is amiss, MSE makes sure users know they’ll need to take action, with red-color highlighting across the UI and via a red taskbar icon.

MSE has a surprising number of settings to work with. Considering the simplicity of the product, it’s still very customizable. Power users enjoy having tons of features to tweak, and we think they’ll be satisfied with the settings that can be changed in MSE. It doesn’t offer as many options as some other security suites, but given its features, the settings that can be adjusted are exactly what one would expect. It should be noted that MSE is very small; the installer sizes range for windows vista /7 is just 4MB under 9MB for windows vista. The installation is also very quick and the program’s folder takes up only about 13MB. MSE sports a single tray icon (hidden by default in Windows 7) that indicates it is running. The software doesn’t add any browser toolbars, desktop gadgets, or additional crap during installation.

Overall seems to be a very neat and simple product to use by Microsoft and as it uses the same virus protection which One Care provides so should overall provide great protection.

USMT makes us possible to migrate data from Windows XP to Windows 7 where no external Hard Drive or Network Location or Transfer cable is required. USMT migrates files and settings between Microsoft Windows versions 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7, and is useful in migrating user settings and files during OS upgrades. 32-bit to 64-bit migrations are supported, but 64-bit to 32-bit are not.

Once again hackers wins the cat and mouse battle game from the Redmond giants. A group of Chinese hackers used a leaked Windows 7 Ultimate.iso OEM version from Lenovo to retrieve the OEM-SLP product key and OEM certificate for Windows 7 Ultimate. The leaked .ISO was originally posted on a Chinese forum, which was then downloaded in order for people to get hold of the boot.wim, and in turn retrieving the OEM-SLP key, plus the OEM activation certificate. Microsoft uses the same digitally signed OEM certificate, which has an .xrm-ms extension, as that in Windows Vista. Another point to note is the extracted Windows 7 Ultimate OEM-SLP product key, XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX, can be used to activate installed Windows 7 Ultimate system, which BIOS has a valid OEM SLIC 2.1, and corresponding OEM cert, even if it’sOEM cert meant for Windows Vista. Best news is that, the product key appears to be a master OEM-SLP product key for Windows 7 Ultimate, which able to activate many OEM brands, such as HP, Dell, MSI and Lenovo.

According to Mydigitallife.info Both 32-bit and 64-bit (x86 and x64) Windows 7 Ultimate system should and can be activated immediately. For Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Home Basic, and Windows 7 Starter, the OEM-SLP keys haven’t been leaked, thus can’t be OEM-activated yet. It’s expected that various Windows 7 activators, Windows 7 activation toolkits, Windows 7 Loaders and etc are expected to be released by various hackers soon.

Warning : We are not encouraging you to download cracked version of Windows 7 or any other application. After they are released by hackers and who knows by a bad hacker.
