Google launched a DNS service this December, in my opinion it’s just another step by Google get more control on your daily internet. Giant G launched Google Public DNS, yet another free service that replaces your Internet provider’s "domain name system" — which is basically the stuff that servers do to get your browser to iHackintosh blog when you type in “www.ihackintosh.com” ok it’s not so easy as looks, in a little more detail every website has a unique Internet Protocol (IP) address for e.g. 74.125.45.100 is of Google. For human brains it’s easy to remember a unique name than the unique numbers so DNS simply works like a switchboard of the Internet, converting easy-to-remember domain names.

Till now OpenDNS is the pioneers and innovators in the DNS space, offering the most secure recursive DNS service around. Another alternative was the DNS server 4.2.2.2. But this server was not that fast outside United States. Google DNS Servers are live now and if you wanna check/ compare the performance, Google has provided an extensive guide to help users start using their DNS service. We tried to make it more clear with screenshots. Following are the guides to change DNS setting on your Mac Windows computer to Google Public DNS.

YouTube’s bandwidth costs were estimated at approximately US$1 million a day. Alexa ranks YouTube as the third most visited website on the Internet, behind Yahoo! and Google. But still most users of YouTube are still not awared with feature’s of YouTube. So they launched this new service ‘Adopt a Feature’, and anybody can contribute. According to YouTube official blog post “ The “play” button definitely works but that’s just the start of where the YouTube experience can begin. Every week we release new tools, or enhancements to current ones, to help you make better videos, connect with one another, and understand your audience. We tell you about them in this blog, but now we want to take it up a notch and ask you to (puppy-dog eyes) adopt a feature. “

2. Make a video about that feature (of course, it must adhere to our Terms of Service) and be sure to use the precise tags we’ve indicated for each feature.
