iPhone dev team has released the most awaited update to Redsn0w. Latest version of Redsn0w is 0.9.6 RC9 and supports untethered iOS jailbreak for iOS 4.3, 4.3.1 running on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, 3G, iPad 1 & Apple TV 2 (Black), no luck for iPad 2 users. Latest version of redsn0w supports on device customizations include boot logos, recovery logos, and “verbose” boot.
Note : Ultrasn0w unlockers are highly advised to stay away, until dev team fixes the problems 4.3.1 has with older basebands.

Apple officially released a new firmware update for iOS 4.3.1 . The update, expected from last few days, latest release does not introduce any new features over the previous version, and released exclusively to fix known bugs. Here’s the official changelog :

Apple just seeded iOS 4.3 GM, build 8F190 for developers. iOS 4.3 is set to public release on March 11 together with the iPad 2 launch. iOS 4.3 is available for following iDevice.

iPhone Dev Team has finally released the much awaited Pwnage Tool for Mac, the program allows untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1 iPhone3G, iPhone3GS, iPhone4,  iPhone 4 – Verizon, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G, iPad and Apple TV 2G (black).
