Following the launch of The New iPad, Apple is expected to launch next generation iPhone in WWDC’12. We do not know how Apple might call its next smartphone. It may be a simple "new iPhone" or perhaps continue the numbering and see an iPhone 5. Whatever its name is, Apple is trying to acquire domains that refer directly to their products, namely, the Cupertino giants are trying to grab control of the domain iPhone5.com. Their legal team filed a complaint with the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization ).

Currently, the website iPhone5.com is a humble forum launched in October 2010, right after the introduction of the iPhone 4.

Today is the big day, Apple inc. is all set to host a media event in front of a large number of journalists and industry insiders, at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. iPad 3 aka iPad HD and Apple TV 3 are highly anticipated at Apple Media Event. In recent months many rumors have been gradually launched by media, and by summing up, we can expect the following from today’s presentation.

First basic element, the name the new iPad probably will not follow the "traditional numeric", but for reasons of marketing will focus on all its main distinctive character, the Retina Display which will make the much-anticipated "tablet" the first with a higher resolution to a normal HD. So no iPad 3, but welcome to ‘iPad HD.

iPad 3 aka iPad HD is rumored to come with a dual / quad-core processor, Retina Display, with room for 5/8 megapixel able to shoot 1080p HD format with a HD camera for Face Time calls, a dedicated graphics chip, 128GB of storage space, 4G LTE connectivity, a better battery and a thicker shell.

Apple TV 3 is also expected with the new CPU, the Apple A5 or unreleased Apple A5X and support Full HD 1080p resolutions. iPhone OS 5.1, eagerly awaited by users because it might give the correction of several bugs encountered so far in the current firmware. Preview a rather unlikely iOS 6 from formalizing the new iPhone 5.

Apple has announced that it has reached a staggering 25 billion downloads from the App Store. To celebrate, Apple dodged a check for $ 10,000 to spend on iTunes Store to the person to succeed in meeting the magic number of downloads. Still have to wait a couple of days to know the name of the lucky so stay tuned for if luck falls on any of you.

It took Three years and Eight months to achieve 25 billion applications download mark. Right now Apple has the largest applications store in the world because no Android Market app store or otherwise have reached such a number of downloads.

Applidium engineers reverse engineered Siri’s communication protocol. Since Siri was introduced, hackers around the world have been looking for a way to break Apple’s security and port it to other devices. What does this mean? By reverse engineering Siri, one can have complete control of Siri, can be installed on any device Siri, you can be a mobile or tablet from another manufacturer.

Folks over Applidium were able to break security protocol of Siri and were able to find out what happens when we communicate with the assistant. They found that Siri sends and receives information from Apple servers to identify Apple iPhone 4S. Moreover, Applidium managed to run commands by Siri installed on a device other than iPhone 4S and get answers from Apple servers so the whole process runs smoothly.

The interesting part is that Applidium says any iPhone / iPhone / iPod Touch / Mac / Android terminal or other device can be used with Siri, the problem is that the worker must be ported to these devices. The Applidium already offers all the files with which Syria could use any device, but the process is complex and is not handy. Charlie Miller aka 0xcharlie, well-known security researcher has revealed that he found a new vulnerability in iOS software that allows an application to run malicious code. It should be noted that Apple controls all applications submitted to the App Store and does not allow the execution of unauthorized code.

The Miller managed to "broke" this limitation and even created and an application to demonstrate the findings. Apple has approved the application to the App Store and Miller exploited the security hole and managed to steal the photos from one device.

Using his method-and Miller has already planted a sleeper app in Apple’s App Store to demonstrate the trick-an app can phone home to a remote computer that downloads new unapproved commands onto the device and executes them at will, including stealing the user’s photos, reading contacts, making the phone vibrate or play sounds, or otherwise repurposing normal iOS app functions for malicious ends.

It was logical that Apple removed the application from the Apple and the Miller expelled from the program developers.

Last week Apple launched the second beta version of iOS 5.0.1 to developers with a soft warning to developers, that relates to the distribution iDevice operating system. Apple sent emails to developers that the distribution of any kind of material about iOS 5 beta versions may result in termination of your account by the developer and would be vulnerable to civil and criminal processes.

Pre-release software is Apple Confidential Information. Unauthorized distribution of pre-release software or disclosure of information relating to pre-release software (including the distribution of screen shots) May result in immediate termination of your membership Apple Developer Program, and May Subject You to civil and criminal liability Both.

It is the first time Apple sends these notes to developers. Recently we saw growing hundreds of websites which sells UDID spots for a few $ to anyone, once you register your UDID with any iPhone dev account, you are free to install iOS beta version on your iPhone.

Apple released latest version of iTunes, just ahead of iOS 5. iTunes 10.5 will be needed to enjoy  of all developments of iOS 5 and iCloud. Following is the official list of improvements included in this version of iTunes:

• iTunes in the cloud. Now keep in iCloud iTunes music and programs of television you buy, so they are available on their devices wherever you are, at any time and without any additional cost.
• Automatic downloads. Buy music from any device or computer and download a copy automatically to your Mac and IOS devices.

• Download previous purchases. Re-download at no additional cost, music, television programs, the applications and previously purchased books. Previous purchases may not be available if they are not in the iTunes Store.
• Synchronization with the iPhone , or iPod touch with IOS 5.
• Synchronizing using Wi-Fi . Sync your iPhone or iPod touch with iTunes when both are connected to the same network Wi.Fi.

You can update using the Software Update tool that Apple provides, or directly from the iTunes website.

Apple today announced (Official Link) that over 1 million iPhone 4S terminals were pre-ordered on the first day of sales. The device went on sale on Friday and AT&T said it had sold no less than 200,000 terminals in just 12 hours of availability, but behold, after just one day Apple has registered 1 million pre-orders for the new device. The figure is almost double that recorded for iPhone 4, which was pre-ordered 600,000 copies on day one. iPhone 4S will certainly become the best selling Apple’s iPhone.

Lacking only the official announcement, and it has finally arrived. Apple sent press invitations for conference presentation of iOS 5, iPhone 5 and iCloud 5 on October 4th, keynote to be held in exactly one week in Cupertino, in the Town Hall auditorium, at 10:00 AM local time. The slogan is "Let’s talk about iPhone," quite suggestive, is not it?

Now we know the date, although there are many doubts in the air: iPhone 5 with new design?Do two versions to satisfy different segments? Does it improve on the processor with the addition of dual-core chip A5? Can launch iOS 5 for everyone in the same keynote?

Of course the new iPhone will be the superstar of the event, but it is very likely to expect new lineup of iPod, and will also speak of  iPhone software iOS 5, integrating with Facebook in addition to the Twitter already announced. And just about the social network, it is also rumored a version specifically for iPad Facebook app, which could be presented next Tuesday right on the Apple stage.
