iPad Ships April 3 and Preorder Starts From March 12

Apple announced that iPad WiFi model will be available in the US stores on April 3, Saturday. Wi-Fi + 3G models are scheduled late April. In addition, all models of iPad will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK in late April. iPad will be available in Wi-Fi models on April 3 in the US for a suggested retail price of $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB, $699 for 64GB. Rumor : Mac mini With HDMI Port

Apple Insider reports an unconfirmed rumor of next gen Mac Mini with HDMI out port. Anonymous sources of AI claimed Apple currently has prototype Mac minis with HDMI built in, replacing the current model’s mini-DVI port. The new Mac mini is said to otherwise look identical to current models. Supposedly Apple is also preparing a separate mini-Display Port to HDMI adapter, which should be in a position to both the audio and video signal transfer (currently the mini-Display Port limited to video). Apple Registers Magic TrackPad

Apple has registered the trademark “Magic TrackPad” in the U.S. Patent Trademark Office as designated by Patently Apple. “Magic TrackPad” could be a device that would connect to the Mac desktop and notebook computers, which allow the use of gestures in our Mac. According to official documents Magic trackpad is the application for commercial use and will cover the broad range of computer software over hardware to peripherals, including touch screens, mouse, trackpad, touchpad, graphics tablets, etc.

Apple App Store Now Available in a Browser Near You

Two weeks ago Apple introduced  “iTunes preview”, whenever you hit an iTunes link, you’re getting a preview page of the content you’re trying to access. So now when you click on an App Store link you were re-directed to iTunes Preview in your favorite browser. iTunes Preview displays the app logo, price, description, screenshots, rating, reviews and more in a new window or tab. iPhone Hackers Beware, Apple Is Attacking

Does the name Sheriff Hashim remind you of anything? Well, if it doesn’t have a look here. Sheriff Hashim, is an iPhone hacker who managed to find a new exploit for baseband 05.12.01. He reported his find to the iPhone Dev Team, of which Muscelnerd confirmed that the exploit might work. iPhone Google Search, 100 Million A Year

AT&T to Allow SlingPlayer Over 3G

Location Based Advertising Prohibited

Apple has just posted on their iPhone Developer News feed, a note stating that applications which makes use of the Location service for advertisement purposes, will be banned from the AppStore. Furthermore, Apple states that the use of the Location feature should be used for beneficial purposes whichever that means.

Apple Allowing VOIP Over 3G

There are lots of great VOIP applications out there for the iPhone, such as iCall which allows you to make free calls to the United States and Canada, Skype and Fring. What was one of the main disadvantages of these applications is that we were unable to use them over our 3G connection, thus only permitting us to make calls over WiFi.
