WSJ, Bloomberg Confirms Cheaper iPhone in 2013
According to information from manufacturers, Apple is planning to build a new cheaper iPhone for China and other emerging markets in the second half of 2013.
WSJ and Bloomberg confirms the report of Digitimes traffic on a cheaper iPhone in 2013. The WSJ says cheaper phone can have a different design, to lower the cost of the device Apple may use the polycarbonate body.
The truth is that both the WSJ and Bloomberg reported regularly in the past for this notorious cheaper iPhone without, of course, has never been released. Although this year might be the year that Apple would follow a different strategy (so far as the company offers “cheap” model of the older devices by reducing their price with the release of the new model every year) seems strange traffic of an iPhone possibly with smaller margins and impact on specific markets.
