How to Create Windows 8 Bootable USB Drive from ISO Image
Guide to create Windows 8 bootable USB drive from an ISO image. Easy step-by-step walkthrough on installing Windows 8 with a USB drive.
Following are the instructions to create a bootable Win 8 USB drive, so you can install Windows 8 without any disc. Naturally, to create a bootable USB drive, you need have 4GB or larger USB drive, Windows 8 ISO. We also used a freeware utility called WinUSB Maker to make the process easier for you.
Requirements :
- Windows 8 ISO File.
- A minimum of 4 GB removable drive for 32-bit Windows and 8 GB for 64-bit Windows 8 operating system.

Step 1: Download and extract WinUSB Maker (download here) on your Desktop.
Step 2: Run the WinUSB tool with administrative privileges. (right-click on the .exe file, and click Run as Administrator)
Step 3: Now select your USB drive in drop-down menu. Your USB drive must be clean formatted before the process.
Step 4: Now press Setup to USB tab and press Select an ISO or Directory. Now you’ll be asked to browse and select Windows 8 ISO file on your computer.
Step 5: Finally, click on the button Make USB Bootable.
That’s all, the tool will now format the USB drive and copy all the Windows installation files to it and make it bootable. It’ll take 5-15 minutes (depending on your USB R/W Speed) to finish the process.
