Apple unveiled iMac 2011 with Thunderbolt and SandyBridge

The rumors were true, Apple today launched a new line of iMac, the same way that the MacBook Pro lineup renewed last February. Latest iMac ships with Thunderbolt technologies and Sandy Bridge processor but the surprises do not stop there. The new iMac’s will have HD webcams compatible with FaceTime HD technology, new graphics cards will have three times faster than older versions but will also have prices to match. All iMac’s have ports Thunderbolt 27-inch versions, but each have two ports. Prices start at $ 1,199 for the version of 21.5 inches and get up to $ 2,000 for 27-inch version with 3.1 GHz processor.
Here each version brings new features in part:
- 21.5 inch iMac Intel Core i5 quad-core 2.5GHz with 6MB L3 cache, 500GB HDD, 4 GB DDR 3 RAM (configurable up to 16GB), AMD Radeon 6750M video card with 512 MB GDDR5 RAM, a port Thunderbolt – price estimated $1,199.
- 21.5 inch iMac Intel Core i7 quad-core 2.7GHz with 6MB L3 cache (configurable up to 2.8 GHz), 1TB HDD (configurable up to 2TB), 4 GB DDR 3 RAM (configurable up to 16GB), AMD Radeon HD Graphics 6770M with 512 MB GDDR5 RAM, a port Thunderbolt – estimated price $1,499.
- 27 inch iMac Intel Core i7 quad-core 2.7GHz with 6MB L3 cache, 1TB HDD (configurable up to 2TB), 4 GB DDR 3 RAM (configurable up to 16GB), AMD Radeon 6770M video card with 512 MB GDDR5 RAM, Thunderbolt 2 ports – estimated price $1,699.
- 27 inch iMac Intel Core i7 quad-core 3.1GHz with 6MB L3 cache (configurable up to 3.4 GHz), 1TB HDD (configurable up to 2TB), 4 GB DDR 3 RAM (configurable up to 16GB), AMD Radeon HD Graphics 6970M with 1GB GDDR5 RAM (configurable up to 2GB), 2 ports Thunderbolt – estimated price $1,999.
