Apple Released Mac OS X 10.6.8 Beta to Developers

Apple just released the very first developer build of Mac OS X 10.6.8 build 10K521, short after two months of the public release of Mac OS X 10.6.7. Apparently, 10.6.8 is the last update before the arrival of Mac OS X 10.7 aka Mac OS X Lion.
The download is available as a combo (1.01 GB) and as the Delta Update (508.11 MB). The update is marked with “no known issues” and the release notes need to focus on:
- AirPort
- Graphics Driver
- Mac App Store
- Networking
- QuickTime
- VPN
We can expect a public release of OS X 10.6.8 with in 2-4 weeks from now on. Apple has also released the third developer preview of Mac OS X Lion, available through Software Update if you have installed previous version.
