iPhone 5 might have 4” Display and A5 Processor

The next iPhone could have a bigger screen than the current so that it can compete with the current generation, high end Android smartphones. This time the information comes from Digitimes, saying that the iPhone 5 will have 4 inch screen and  A5 processor for faster speeds. DigiTimes also published that the production lines have already begun to test panels of 4″ for iPhone and 9.7″ for iPad. The current iPhone is 3.5 ” and resolution is 960×640 pixels.

The medium also speaks about Taiwanese A4 processor retirement, which would be replaced by an ARM Cortex A5 by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company .

The Wall Street Journal also tipped off by their insider that the prototype of a smaller iPhone also in testing. This is in comparison to the iPhone 4 figure of around half the size and also “significantly easier.”  The display will range from edge to edge
