Chronic Dev team, folks behind the Greenpois0n jailbreak tool, has posted the most awaited update to Greenpois0n. Latest version of Greenpois0n is RC5 and supports untethered iOS jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1 running on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, 3G & Apple TV 2 (Black). Greenpois0n RC5 is only available for Mac OS and Windows & Linux version are likely to be release very soon.

Greenpois0n is updated with some random bug fixes (Discussed here). Following links are updated with new version.

    Okay so I’ve jailbroken with greenpoison, and now i’m stuck with activation again. Any way I can get onto my iphone to unlock with ultrasnow?

    i got the same issue here!!! no cydia!!! blackscreen…any help???

    I had the same on my iPad. I managed to install cydia with redsn0w 0.9.7b6

    I have the same problem with my iPhone 3GS, but couldn’t install cydia … Even with redsn0w

    Yes it supports the iPad 1G. I just succeeded in doing so, but I’m stuck with the problem of having Loader stuck at a white screen without Cydia showing up in sources. Don’t know if this a traffic issue or a problem that happened during the jailbreaking.

    RC5? I can only see RC4 for Mac and Win (and RC3.3 for Linux)… This on the GreenPois0n site. The mirror have RC5 though..
