AirPrint is a feature for compatible wireless printer on the Mac, but Apple withdrawn AirPrint support from Mac OS X 10.6.5 at the last moment, may be due to some patent problems. iOS 4.2 Release is Imminent, Jailbreak and Unlock Coming Soon

Apple is all set to release iOS 4.2 for iPhone, iPod and iPad. Recent rumors suggest Apple plans to release  iTunes 10.1 with Mac OS X 10.6.5 tomorrow, while iOS 4.2 should be released sometime on Friday. Mac OS X 10.6.5 and iTunes 10.1 will support AirPlay and AirPrint. Other hand iPhone Dev Team also released an update to hold your horses and wait for their confirmation before attempting any update.

FaceIt 3G : Enables FaceTime for iPhone 3GS

Yesterday we told you about Faceit, the tweaks developed by the folks of iPhoneislam.com to enable FaceTime on the iPhone 3GS. Today iPhoneIslam guys released FaceIt 3G on their repo

The installation procedure is very simple, just add the repository “apps.iphoneislam.com” on your Jailbroken iPhone 3GS with iOS4.1 installed and search for "Faceit-3G" and install it. After installation restart your iPhone. That’s it.

FaceTime is coming to jailbroken iPhone 3GS

Folks over iPhoneIslam are working on a new tweak that promises to enable FaceTime on jailbroken iPhone 3GS. iPhoneIslam guys are the same ones who patched FaceTime activation in some parts of the Middle East. Tweak is almost finished and team is working to activate the rear camera of iPhone 3GS to complete pleasure.

As you can see in the video installation of FaceIt is easy and simple. Team promised to release FaceIt  within a few days will be available free of cost.

Saurik and Chpwn Cooking a new Version of Cydia

Through a recent tweet, MuscleNerd announced to all his followers that Saurik and Chpwn are working on a new version of Cydia that not only will make it compatible with IOS 4.2, but also change part of the GUI and may be more faster. We do not know anything about the availability, features, exact UI but in fact an increase in download speeds and the ability of users to add reviews would be much appreciated by many users of Cydia.

iOS 4.2 Jailbreak may be Delayed due to Cydia Support

According to a recent tweet by wonder boy Comex, the iOS 4.2 Jailbreak may be delayed due to Cydia compatibility with latest firmware. Dev team already warned us to stay away from installing Cydia while jailbreaking with Redsn0w.

Apple today released iOS 4.2 GM for developers and guess what? iOS 4.2 is vulnerable to Redsn0w 0.9.6 b2 released by iPhone dev team. You can jailbreak your iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 2G, iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G and iPad running on iOS 4.2.
