Apple will broadcast its event on September 1 with their own technology leader in live streaming HTTP, which is based on open standards. To watch the stream you will need a Mac using Safari on Mac OS X 10.6, iPhone, iPod Touch or an iPad. The transmission will start at 10:00 am (local time) on September 1 and you can follow through www.apple.com Apparently then, you can not follow the stream from Windows OS based systems, Linux, Android, WebOS, or any other operating system.
