iPod 4 Jailbreak and iOS 4.1 Jailbreak : Work in Progress

Good news for iDevice jailbreakers, Pod2g Chronic Dev team member and iPhone hacker managed to find the iOS 4.1 jailbreak exploit. Just like previous release of jailbreak tools, current exploit also works with all iDevice family including the latest iPod touch 4. If everything goes well, very soon we’ll be able to jailbreak out iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS / 3G and all iPod touch family.

Note : iPhone unlocker are strictly warned not to update to iOS 4.1 in any case, unless we have a working unlock.

MuscleNerd also confirmed the existence of the exploit in possession of Pod2G. According to recent tweets by other hackers, we learn that certainly this is an bootrom exploit.

For the time being it is advised to stay away from firmware 4.1, because there is much work left to do! Keep checking iHackintosh daily for latest updates.

i just accidantly upgraded my ipod touch to 4.1 ( as i thought i needed that for jailbreaking) but now there aint any jailbreaks for ipod touch 3g with 4.1 so plz hurry and can some1 tell me the release date for this jailbreak? tyvm
