Apple has released a minor update to iTunes that comes specifically to 10.0.1. This minor update contain fixes of some bugs or problems and features like a sidebar to Ping and the ability to listen to a favorite on the new iPod touch, iPod nano, iPod shuffle and Apple TV. iTunes 10.0.1 provides a number of bug fixes, including:

Addresses an issue in which iTunes may unexpectedly stop when interacting with the album artwork displayed in a separate window.
Addresses an issue in which the image quality of a video depends on the visibility of the onscreen controls.
Corrects a problem that affects the performance of some third-party viewers.
Fixes a problem that caused the playlist and your iTunes library appears empty.
Fixes an issue that created incompatibilities with some third-party shared libraries.
