Where to Buy iPhone 4 Factory Unlocked

Factory Unlocked iPhone are officially and permanently unlocked by Apple, means no jailbreak, unlock. You can upgrade it to any future firmware and it will not lock back. Just insert a SIM card, plug it into iTunes, and it’ll register and activate the phone just as if you had a normal AT&T account (or whatever your national iPhone carrier is). Here we collected a comprehensive list of Countries who are authorized to sell factory unlocked iPhone 4. Pricing and availability for following countries isn’t available at the moment, we’ll update this space as more information comes out. 
If you ever touch down at for example Hong Kong airport or Australia or New Zealand or any of the above mentioned country for a holiday or business trip, don’t forget to grab some Factory unlocked iPhones 3GS from the local Apple Online Store.

I too have the same situation as ‘uday’. I am also going to my home town via Hong Kong airport, i have to wait at the airport for 2hr for my next flight. Please tell me if it is possible to purchase from the airport. Or any other means to get if from Hong Kong while in the airport.

You said that one can get an officially unlocked iphone 4 from Hong kong airport, can you explain me how as I would be passing through Hong kong next week in my business trip to Tokyo.
In Malaysia:
16GB – 3650 Ringgit (1147 USD)
(probably I didn’t get the best deal possible, it just arrived when I got it)
However, don’t restore the firmware, it will no longer be unlocked!
In NZ
16gb – $1099
32gb – $1299
In Italy all phones must be unlocked by law but the price is higher than everywhere else in the world. Iphone 4 was released just a few days ago.
My 3gs has been jailbroken and yes it runs cydia with no problems at all
this blows!! apple is happily raping the united states..wtf.. we need to get our broke asses together to bitchslap apple.
Countries aren’t “authorized” to sell unlocked phones by Apple. Countries tell Apple what kind of phones to ship over if Apple wants to be allowed to sell them. Too bad the US won’t stand up for its citizens and require Apple to sell unlocked here. Folks in Russia, Saudi, and the UAE have more power over Apple than our government.
UK is missing. It’s on the official Apple site in the UK sold unlocked…
Normally we get iPhone very lately. I am in Sri Lanka. Unlocked 3GS is only available from very recently. All factory unlocked because we have no oficial iPhone carrier here. But phones are expensive 32GB iPhone 3GS is around 950 USD
But I get down phones from specially from Cambodia or Philippines where prices are cheap.
Either case Fu ones are very easy to use now I use my iPhone 3GS in iOS4 jalbroken without any issues.
Please update the prices and availability in these countries as fast as u guys can..!!

Here in Brazil, Is forbidden to sell any locked phone by law, even iPhone.
We don’t have any iPhone 4 yet, but when is arrive, it will be unlocked.
In Belgium, a law was recently passed which allows “koppelverkoop”, basically selling subsidized phones. It is expected that Mobistar, the Belgian iPhone distributor, will now simlock the iPhone4, seeing as their profit when selling it unlocked is about 10 euros.
They have not yet made a press statement denying or confirming this.
So u say they have full access to file system and can run cydia wothout jb?
Waiting for official price of unlocked iPhone 4 :p
GlobeNET is an authorized Apple distributor in Serbia and they sell iPhones too.
