Links to Download iOS 4 for iPhone 3G, 3GS and iPhone 4

Apple just released much awaited iPhone firmware update, now known as iOS 4. Latest release of OS comes with lots of new features like multitasking, folders, unified mailbox, new wallpapers, threading in Mail, lots of enhancements in camera and photos, deeper enterprise support, , Retina Display integration for iPhone 4 and tons of new features everywhere.” and much more. In order to install iOS 4 on your iDevices you need iTunes 9.2, you can download offline installers of iTunes 9.2 for Mac and Windows here.

Following are the offline download links for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4. It can be upgraded to in iTunes by holding the alt/option key (for Mac users) or shift key (for Windows users) while pressing the “Check for Update” button in iTunes, and selecting the downloaded IPSW on your drive.

Now at home, offline (other than via the phone itself, with which I’m posting this) & trying to update, it’s asking me where it put the files. If it doesn’t know, I sure as frak don’t. i have a 3gs on 3.1.3 and everytime i try to upgrade to ios 4.0 it says error 3014…. i cant figure out for the life of me why i cant upgrade.?
it has never been unlocked or jailbroken. also it gives an error when backing up too. it wont let it backup sometimes and sometimes it gets to where it says verifying upgrade with apple and throws that 3024 at me. its like a i cant do anything cool with it…any suggestions ? thanks.
