LG Ally Specifications and Technical Information
LG is all set to host a launch event on Tuesday evening in New York to reveal all the details about its first Android device for the U.S. market, the LG Ally. However [BGR] somehow managed to get hold of the specifications and details prior the event. Leaked characteristics confirm LG Ally is not a top range smartphone in the strict sense, but you go to put in the same market segment identical to the Motorola Droid / Milestone for both characteristics (similar hardware) and for presence of a QWERTY keyboard slides horizontally.
Android OS appears to be a stock Google Android experience with little customization from LG side. LG has created its own calendar, a news/weather widget, and a social-networking widget called Socialite for the Ally.
