HD video recording evidence found in iPhone OS 4.0 SDK

6 May 2010 by Vinay No Comment

A new sign in the last SDK for iPhone OS 4.0 show that the next iPhone will probably support the video capture analysis 1280 × 720 (HD). An article in MacRumors refers to some preset values found in the beta SDK for iPhone OS 4.0 and beyond the standard resolution (VGA) including the 720p. These preset values suggest that a future iPhone will be able to capture at 720p (1280×720) resolution. The finding is a strong indication that the next model of iPhone will have the ability to record and playback HD video at 720p.

fullaccessOutside of the SDK discovery, the strongest sign is a rumors of the iPhone getting a 5-megapixel camera for its 2010 update. Lets wait and watch for Worldwide Developer’s Conference which takes place between June 7-11th in San Francisco, CA.
