Apple Sold 2 Million iPad in 60 Days

Steve Jobs introduced the long-awaited and most rumored Apple tablet on 27th of January, first iPad was shipped on April 3rd. Tech pundits reviewed iPad as just another iPod touch with big screen, no full-fledged operating system, no USB blah blah and blah. “Yes, it’s all swollen iPod Touch”, – shouted then many. Next Generation iPhone will Screen IPS Panel and 960 x 640 Pixels

Czech website Superiphone.cz revealed resolutions and details of upcoming iPhone 4G. According to this site, next generation Apple iPhone screen resolution is 960 x 640 using with In Plane Switching technology (IPS). The number of pixels in the screen of the new iPhone is thus four times as large as the iPhone 3G. Apple has the new iPhone a very high pixel density achieved, compared to other phones.
superiphone.cz published an image of the panel under the microscope, panel is supposed as belonging to the iPhone 4G/HD.

iPhone OS 3.1.3 BB 5.12.07 Unlock is Coming Soon After OS 4

Good news for those who have locked the iPhone 3GS v3.1.3 (baseband 05.12.01). MuscleNerd has confirmed on his twitter while replying to someone, that unlock tool for baseband 05.12.01 will be available when it launches the new iPhone 4G/HD. Apparently the exploit already exists, as we reported in the past  (check details here). The only thing left is to test that exploit with upcoming iPhone 4G/HD and iPhone OS 4.0.

Apple TV : Cloud Storage, iPhone OS only for $ 99

Engadget has received unconfirmed evidence about the next generation of Apple TV. According to Engadget source, device should be running on iPhone OS, device is much smaller in comparison to current one,  connections for HD video (1080p). No AMOLED Screen in iPhone 4G

Ming-Chih Kuo, the Taiwanese analyst talked with Digitimes [check here] about Apples upcoming iPhone. According to Ming Apple was looking for possibility of the OLED-display in the iPhone 4G, but eventually abandoned the idea. One of the reasons to refuse OLED in the iPhone – problems in the supply from Samsung, with whom Apple is going to negotiate about the OLED-technology still under development 3GS.

Mozilla Developing Firefox Home for iPhone

Mozilla developing a new application named Firefox Home which provides users with direct access to various data / information using Firefox browser on their computer (via the Firefox Sync ). These data include: browser history (browsing history), bookmarks (bookmarks) and tabs open (tabs). If everything goes well Mozilla will submit the Firefox Home application to the Apple App Store next month.

Android Froyo 2.2 on Motorola Droid and Milestone Coming Soon

Good folks over Engadget confirmed that Motorola Droid and Milestone users will receive Android 2.2 as a software upgrade in the near future. It is not known when this will happen, certainly after upgrading the Nexus One, if they will release simultaneously for the U.S. and Rest of World. This is a good sign for owners of Motorola Milestone who apparently left no will to 2.1 but upgraded to 2.2 Froyo in a future not too distant future.
