This is in no way fake. I believe GeoHot is holding out until apple releases OS 4.0. To release it now would mean apple would patch the exploit when OS 4 is released, and then we’ll all be in the same boat we are in now.

Now April 12 and the jailbreak is supposed to be out. Geohot said he found a new way to jailbreak that would be a lot better. I wish he would just release what he has. I need to get installous on my f’ing iPod 3g 3.1.3…

But I am starting to think there is no jailbreak for iPod 3g yet. Especially untethered
