Unlock iPhone 3GS OS 3.1.3 Baseband 05.11.07 with Blacksn0w

Good News for those who are stuck on iPhone 3GS OS 3.1.3 / Baseband 05.11.07 and can’t downgrade to earlier versions because they didn’t saved their Cydia SHSH. MSFTGuy and PushFix fixed the Blacksn0w and firmware 3.1.3 issue and now this unofficial patched version of blacksn0w is available on PushFix Cydia repo. This modified version of blacksn0w adds support for phones running 3.1.3 with 05.11.07 baseband (phones upgraded with PwnageTool or Sn0wbreeze). It also fixes a small bug that appears to make WiFi much more stable
Note : Needless to mention but if you updated your 3.1.2 or less OS to 3.1.3 stock firmware you are out of luck because your Baseband is updated to 5.12.01 and latest BB is incompatible with Ultrasn0w/ Blacksn0w. MSFTGuys patched release is for BB 05.11.07 only.

Blacksn0w RC2 will be available on MMI repo very soon, if you are impatient one then you can add the source ” http://cydia.pushfix.info/ ” to Cydia and install it now. The package is called " blacksn0w RC2 "
Warning : Blacksn0w for 3.1.3 is still in RC stage and there may be some issues or bugs, for example, if you are faking your OS version to be 3.1.3 and you install the 3.1.3 version of blacksn0w RC2 with 3.1.2 CommCenter, you will cause problems! Your cell and WiFi could be unresponsive until you either uninstalled the package again via Cydia or restored the phone. So if you haven’t left any other option only then go for this release.

Hi, how can i get out from the emergency call? My iphone 3gs is stuck so i cant use cydia for unlocking my iphone. I restored it to 3.1.3 and have 5.12 baseband. My iphone 3gs has a new boot rom. Any idea how unlock my iphone?
a comedy of errors:
I got an iPhone yesterday, it was already unlocked and it ran fine the whole day. I installed facebook, added music, setup wifi and added apn/mms settings for my non official carrier. I WAS CAREFUL TO NOT UPDATE THE PHONE VIA itunes or anything
I had checked the Settings > General > About page and I remember it having baseband 05.11.07 and the versions was 3.1.3
today while driving the phone stops playing music, when i checked it was responding slowly and it had “searching” at the top. I couldn’t access the about page anymore, and it was freezing alot.
So i stupidly hit “Erase all content and setting”, thinking it would fix my problem and just clear my installed apps and music and stuff i setup the day before. of course, i now know it wiped the phone clean ..the OS included.
So now all I get the apple logo.
I’m able to get into DFU mode
obviously i had nothing backed up.
So here are my questions:
Does any think I still have baseband 05.11.07? Will installing a custom 3.1.3 firmware that preserves bb help? Then i can re-unlock using this method ?
What did I do wrong? What caused the phone to give problems on Day 2.

i updated my iphone 3g by mistake to 3.1.3 /05.12.01 /BB 5.09
i’m able to jailbrack it but there is no way to unlock it till now any one can help me or atleast tell me when it is expected to release the unlock for this phone

hey i have 3.1.2 running on a 5.12.01 bb. the phone is jailbroken but, not unlocked. it was updated to the 3.1.3. but i downgraded back to the 3.1.2. Hoping it will unlock with blackra1n. But, no luck at all what so ever.

If possible, can you please give me step by step instructions, I have unlocked and jailbroken a few iphones before but just can’t get this one to work.
I will then follow your instructions to the letter and try once more. I was hoping that the 4.0 software would be released soon but it looks like being June/July (summer) now and I don’t want to wait that long for a new unlock.

does anyone know why my iphone 3G firmware 3.1.2 has got a baseband of 05.12.1? i cant figure it out, and does this mean i can use it as an iphone with 3.1.3 and downgrade it back to 3.1.2 with firmware 05.11.07?

I have a 3GS with baseband 05.11.07 and I have jailbroken it via Pwnage Tool 3.1.5, but I still cannot unlock it.
I have tried the above ‘http://cydia.pushfix.info/’ potential fix and it keeps on saying ‘searching’ afterwards.
Does anyone have a fix for this, as it then go’s back to the apple logo and you have to restore it again to get it jailbroken.
I have tried so many possible solutions but none of them are working for me. I’ve even used the custom 3.1.2 firmware with Blackrain but as it’s not the official firmware it doesn’t work. As well as tring the DiskAid and transferring the 2 files to the iPhone.

It’s not working on iPhone 3gs CF 3.1.2 BB 05.11.07 . The hopeless searching mode / searching network comes and freezes the iPhone 3gs….. Any help required.

How about if you have 3gs old bootrom with 3.1.1 and 5.12.01 but only want to jailbreak? Is this just for unlocking?
