Cydia’s been crashing a lot lately for me, so being able to just perform all my app updating/installing from my laptop is ideal. Besides, Cydia’s so dang slow, so without Rock, installing apps sucks.

I had tried the original Cyder before, but it would hang every time it synced up with Cydia’s sources. This hasn’t had that problem :D

Works just like running the Cydia app on your iPhone, only you’re doing it on your PC. Not real sure WHY you need to, but it’s there. Could be useful for transfering sources, etc. from one device to another, but that’s not too hard to begin with. Downloads, transfers and installs .deb files.
