Apple Registers Magic TrackPad

27 February 2010 by Vinay One Comment

Apple has registered the trademark “Magic TrackPad” in the U.S. Patent Trademark Office as designated by Patently Apple. “Magic TrackPad” could be a device that would connect to the Mac desktop and notebook computers, which allow the use of gestures in our Mac. According to official documents Magic trackpad is the application for commercial use and will cover the broad range of computer software over hardware to peripherals, including touch screens, mouse, trackpad, touchpad, graphics tablets, etc.

However, there are plenty of Apple’s applications for trademark protection, which do not land on an actual product.

The mark is not registered yet,it is just a filed as an intent to use application. It would improper to to call it registered at this point.
