Intel Accidentally Leaks New MacBook Pro

15 January 2010 by Vinay No Comment

We have to admit that mistakes do happen, but some come at a cost. Since all the attention is being focused on the new iPhone and Tablet, some products got jealous and decided to have an update of their own. Without realizing it, Intel managed to leak new information regarding an updated version of the MacBook Pro featuring the new Core i5 Intel processor.

How could such thing happen? Intel has sent out an email to its Retail Edge Program members, promoting a prize draw for January that stated the following: “January Prize Draw: Win a MacBook Pro. Pass this month’s trainings for 2 chances to win one of 2 MacBook Pro laptops with the accelerated response of an Intel Core i5 processor.”

Currently the MacBook pro line is running on the Core 2 Duo processors made by Intel, and hopefully with the announcement of the new products at the rumored Apple event, featuring a new processor on the MacBook Pro would be just about time.
