$100,000 Reward For Tablet Evidence

15 January 2010 by Vinay No Comment

The rumored Apple Tablet has driven almost everyone crazy, and I am pretty sure that ValleyWag just went insane. With all these rumors flying around, no one can speculate the truth of any of them, leading ValleyWag to perform an unusual act.

An announcement was made by ValleyWag, stating that they are willing to pay up a reward of $100,000 US Dollars, for whoever manages to get the tablet into their hands, thus allowing them to play with it for an hour or so.
Now definitely this might be an impossible task to achieve, therefore they have offered other money rewards to anyone who manages to meet the following:

* $10,000 for a bona fide pictures
* $20,000 for a video of a Tablet in action
* $50,000 for pictures or video of Steve Jobs holding a Tablet
* $100,000 to let them play with a Table for an hour

Now you might be wondering what Apple has to say, and how it will prevent attempts of leaking information. Well, according to TechCrunch this kind of act can be considered illegal, thus allowing Apple to have a claim against ValleyWag, under the pretense of “inducing breach of contract.”

ValleyWag are pretty aware of the risks included with such activity, as I am pretty sure Apple won’t just sit and watch. Furthermore, employees who are involved in working on the Tablet are definitely bounded by a nondisclosure agreement.
