Twitter gets another major facelift, this time restless folks behind one of the worlds mostly used social networking site optimized the twitter interface for iPhone and other handheld devices. Twitter optimized for Android, iPhone, WebOS and Nokia S60 browsers, the new interface gives you ‘look and feel’ of Twitter website. Now you can find the tabs to see a different timeline, the mentions favorites and private messages, which are further broken down into “Sent” and “received”. You can also make a Reply, a retweet or save messages among the favorites.
According to Twitter “ This is just the start, we’re excited about the new APIs launching at Twitter, and have been busy tinkering with some neat ways to use them. We look forward to sharing more cool things with you soon.”
The interface will work on BlackBerry browsers but certain features won’t be work well since the interface isn’t tweaked for it. But for iPhone it’s fully optimized just launch the Safari browser on iPhone and navigate to mobile.twitter.com and feel the difference.
