I used to use Kirikae because it was fast and stable. The latest update seemed to have a lot of problems so I gave pro switcher a try. It's fantastic. I have a 3G and I don't notice any significant slowdown (unless I enable rounded corners). It's very smooth and easy to use. I haven't had any stability issues.
