Weather Cydget : Weather Widget on LockScreen

Earlier this week we published CyDialer : Call Friends from the Cover Flow LockScreen, CyDialer is a widget/plugin of Cydget, Cydget is more viable alternative to Winterboard regarding themes for Lockscreen. Here we go with another plugin/widget called Weather Cydget, is a new theme for the lockscreen able to display weather information in real time. The Widget is very well done as they include any information you want such as lunar phases, the temperature, a small description of present conditions etc. Weather Cydget is available in ModMyi repo for free of cost.
Weather Cydget
- Search for Weather Cydget in Cydia and then install the package.
- Once the installation finishes tap to settings and then you’ll find a new entry Cydget.
- Now uncheck all previous widgets if installed and check on the Weather.
- After respring all your Weather.app will be available on iPhone lockscreen. The widget is capable to display the location on a map and understand the weather in coming days. All this happens through the arrows on either side and the bottom.
- The only negative point we found in app is lack of ability to select the city of your choice, may be the developer will add the feature in upcoming updates.

Ok developers it’s time to rise to the occasion and build configuration screens into your aps. We, as users don’t want to manually edit config files. It’s 2009, right?
It is not available in Cydia…
It’s like pulling teeth.
Here is how it’s done.
-Open weather.com
-type in your city and search
-in the menu bar, you’ll find an 8 digit code that looks like this CAXX0504
-SSH into the device
-go to /System/Library/LockCydgets/HTCHero.cydget/Private
-find ConfigureMe.js and download it to your desktop
-open ConfigureMe.js with a text editor
-if you want celsius, change var isCelsius = false to true
-beside var locale = put your city code. Mine is CAXX0504
That’s it folks. That is how it’s explained for 99.9% of the people out there.

If you need to change the city, just go to system/library/lockcydgets/weather
I can not find it in the setting ?! plz help
