iSpazio just released an update to Twidget and now it’s compatible to OS 3.X.X, If you don’t know about Twidget, download Twidget and you will get an application where you can sign-in with your twitter account. IMG_0121Once that is done all you need to do is open Winterboard and select Twidget from the list. After your device resprings you will see all of your feeds in an interactive LockScreen. After a brief loading we can see our whole timeline, including the Tweet of our friends, on the screen. The top menu also allows us to only read our posts (Own), only mentions we received (Reply) or only the messages of our favorites (Favorites). However, the app  uses API calls to get the tweets from the people you follow and as we know Twitter allows only 100 API calls/hour from Twitter clients.

  • Search and install 20 seconds lockscreen or 60 seconds lockscreen from Cydia (Optional)
  • Search and install Twidget from Cydia.
  • Launch Twidget from springboard and enter your Twitter login details.
  • Launch Winterboard and enable the Twidget, that’s it.

However to get full of the twidget we recommend you to install install 20 seconds lockscreen or 60 seconds lockscreen from Cydia to extend the duration of illumination of lockscreen. 20/60 Second Screen Lock is a useful tweak that extends the duration of illumination of the display when we are on Lockscreen. Natively fact, the light remains on for 7 seconds before it crashes the device but after the installation of this file instead, the screen will remain active for 1 minute.
