Can you istall SnowOSX Distro on any PC with a Intel Processor or is it limited to some like installing OS X 10.6 with Rebel EFI?

Work?
that’s very old news … there is v3.5 and 3.5.2 and very recently introduced v3.6 which based on SL 10.6.2 with Chameleon bootloader capable of booting into 32 or 64 bit mode. this version solved so many problems you usually face when upgrading from 10.6.1 to 10.6.2
It looks great bt it’s doing problems to me…
When it loads up, it’s trying to start Darwinx86 and then it restarts…
Can you pleas post a tutorial or something
@Jason @neFos Almost on any PC with Intel based system, though you need to do a workaround for patches, fixes for your Sound/Lan/WiFi etc.
@Biso Thanks for the update, already searched the V3.6 on torrent sites but only 3.5 is seeded in the wild. Some Direct Share sites posted direct download links but it’s unverified. Do you know the home of SnowOSX?
@ShokoMoka Make sure to have Sata HDD, also play with your BIOS setting like disable unused ext ports like Serial/Parallel/1394 etc. Also set your Sata in AHCI mode.
Thanks @Vinay
i downloaded v3.6 and when booting from dvd i get darwin boot loader with options -v , ?, or press enter and chose operating system(w7)…where and how do i install hackintosh? is it possible to keep win7 and make a partition just 10Gb from that hard drive?

Hi Vinay!
Can I install this distro on external USB drive?
I am using Lenovo R60 laptop.
Asus g51vx rx05 (laptop)
Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo P7350
Northbridge Intel PM45 rev. 07
Southbridge Intel 82801IM (ICH9-M) rev. 03
Mainboard Model G60VX (0x0000015B – 0×00028480)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M
4GB RAM
Sometimes I get Dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi components; use only one
Sometimes I get further, those messages are still on the screen, and just a split second later it still hangs.
I’ve tried:
acpi=off
cpus=1
-f
-x32
-s
-x
SnowOSX Universal
SnowOSX Uniflash
Disabling all my extra hardware on the laptop and unplugging everything.
I can’t get it to boot to the install process!
For some reason, every ISO application sees Extensions as a file instead of a folder. So I can’t edit them or change them in any way. I actually don’t have a mac to read the ISO from either….
I successfully got 10.5.6 to install on a different PC a few months ago, but I no longer have that hardware.
Any help would be appreciated!
I have 3 mac x, a 10.52, two 10.6, tree 10.6.2
the last two install and all restarts he/she doesn’t enter in the system, mistake when carrying the system
I please need help
Hi everyone!!!
I’ve recently downloaded the SL software and I own a Hackintosh of iatkos now upgraded to 10.5.8 and the disc loads correctly in the Mac OS X system but in the install process it goes correctly, in the 47% freezes the installation and i couldn’t stop the installation because the system was busy…and my question is… Why it takes too longer? and… Why it was frozen by 8 hrs and without an advance?
I Hope that you send me an answer to my e-mail:
yairbmp@gmail.com
Thanks!!
When i try to load up the system it says:
“VWware is starting Mac OS X.
Hold “option” to select Mac OS X BOOT device.
Hard Disk 80h has no boot volumes, choosing DVD.
Loading… done.
Please wait for the DVD to load…¦”
And stays like this.
Can you help me please?
how do i get this to work on my Dell Optiplex GX270 with an intel Pentium 4 and 2 GB of RAM? i have tried 3 times straight from the disk and 5 times through OSX86SV and it restarts after about 5 seconds every time
I am about to pull the trigger on this purchase for an OSx86:
ASUS P6X58D motherboard
XFX Core Edition GS250XZSL4 GeForce GTS 250 1GB 256-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
Intel Core i7-920 Bloomfield 2.66GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor
With the 6.0 gbps drives (2x2gig) and 6 gig of DDR3 memory (3x 2GB). Rack mount case and 600w power supply. Will use a large (32GB) USB flash drive in lieu of any DVD drive.
Any reason, sir, that I’m doomed to failure here?
Thank you!
Dave
