hi guys
i had 3gs iphone and by mistake i upgraded the software in itunes
so from then it is displaying itunes n usb.firstly it was displaying differnt sim card detected.
kindly help as snow breeze n red snow did’t help.

hi there

I jalbroke the iphone, problem is now i am from south africa and i would like to use it from this side with my voddacom sim card, at first the phone came with a at&t sim card. how do fix this, because my vodacom sim has network and the at&t one says no service but whn i connect to the i tunes they only recognise the at&t sim no the vodacom sim, they say the vodacom sim is not from a supported carrier. now im wondering if i will need a 3g sim card because the at&t sim card is a 3g sim card and my south african sim card is a normal sim card.

Hi.. I bought my iphone 3gs last year from ebay.. I was told it wasn’t jailbroken (which of course was not true). I used it in South Africa, it worked fine. Took it back to India, it worked fine with an Airtel sim.. I think i might have updated the software in india(i really dont remember)..

But then once back to SA, it did now work on a S African sim, it just goes to a weird mode, can see a connecting chord and itunes symbol and emergency calling mode (basically network locked)..
I tried to restore the initial software using itunes(BIIGGG mistake). Now it does not recognize any network or sim, back to the weird mode..

PLEASE HELP!!! I am not understanding the technicality of this damn phone!!!!

i just bought a Iphone 3gs . and i think it is version 3.3 . and i tired using this software .. and it just gets stuck and has a black screen , does not reboot … wht do i do ? i mean i realli realli wanna use my new phone …. dying to use it acctually … can u help me? pweese?

Hey Vinay unlock works fine but my wifi still not working may be hardware is broken or something. Is there any ways i can unlock as i dont have cydia installed. So i cannot install AFC 2 Fixer. Do you have any suggestion or any method to unlock without wifi?

Foncsi – you have to do a RESTORE. I am in this exact same situation and am trying to find a solution to RESTORE my phone. It was unlocked and jailbroken, but had problems and is stuck in a APPLE LOGO loop.

Hope I can do a restore to my 3GS. will see

Hey!

Untill yesterday i had a jailbreaked & unlocked iphone 3g 3.1.2 with baseband 05.11.07, yesterday i surfed the internet with safari and after i had no network anymore, i went to settings to search for a new carrier, but surprise..the button for carrier wasn`t there anymore, i tired a restart and since then my iphone is stuck on the apple logo.
Somebody has any idea what should i do?
