I tried custom restore 3.1.2 and i got error 1604.So i tried iREB to custom restore. But I am not getting white or red screen in my iphone as per the steps provided.

Hi !

I have Iphone 3gs with old boot room 3.1.2 that was blackra1ned.
Yesterday the internet stopped working and I did reset network settings. The systme did reboot and the iphone is now stuck in the apple logo only and wont turn on. I put it in DFU mode and tried to restore custom firmware but itunes error 1600 on mac and 1601 on windows.

My iphone currenly dead -> only apple icon (no cable&disc)

I just use the custom firmware 3.1.2 for my iphone 2g. After I restore my iphone w/ that custom firmware. The itunes say I have an (Error 1604). I need major help!! I have download many custome firmware and it not working. My baseband is 04.05.04_G. My iphone 2g is 16gb. I also have cancel at&t service.

I just dl’d it. I’m up in canada and I just got a 3gs 3.1.2 or whatever, the latest one. I downloaded that thing and it just told me that the software was incompatible…what’s up??

I’ve been fighting with my phone for 2 days. I’ve restored my phone, jailbroken it. I downloaded Felix’s files, but they are zip files that need to be changed to ipsw files. I tried using “rename” file, but zip remains at the end of the file name. How do I change the file to an ipsw file? Thanks!
