GeoHot Promises Jailbreak for all Devices including 3GS 3.1

George Francis Hotz better known as GeoHot in iPhone jailbreak community once again announced the news, what we was expecting from official Dev team. In his latest post he announced an good news for iPod 3G and iPhone 3GS owners. And the good news is “Meet the family. And soon you will find also the program that will run the Jailbreak for each one of these! “. He also posted the picture of his iPhone/iPod family In the picture are in order an EDGE iPhone, iPod Touch 1G, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 2G and then the 3GS(White) and iPod Touch 3G.

According to his recent tweets it seems that he has managed to find a new exploit that will also unlock new 3GS starting with firmware 3.1. This means iPhone 3GS out of box 3.1 with baseband 05.11.07 We just have to wait and watch. We gathered some information regarding the GeoHotz work,

It’s not related with GreenPois0n
Work very differently from Purplera1n But like this will require only 10 seconds to run the jailbreak
The exploit should work on any version of the existing firmware (3.1) or future!

It’s a large claim for him to say it may work for every version of software *ever*. I hope he has this right. If so i am simply amazed. No doubt GeoHot is so blessed and he was the first one who released the iPhone 3GS 3.0 Jailbreak, it was him who pushed the dev team to release Redsn0w and Pwnage tool for iPhone 3GS.

I’m not able to unlock my iphone 3G, because i cannot downgrade my baseband due to the fact that my bootloader is 06.04.
