Are you sure it supports the latest iboot. I just purchased an iphone 3gs yesterday and it has the latest iBoot-359.3.2. I’ve used Blackra1n RC2 and it did not jailbreak. I get upto geohot pic then it restarts then i get itune pic, and the only way to start it up again is to flash it with original flash.

Shady, everytime you turn on, you have to execute Blackra1n to turn iphone on. Solution: Don’t turn off the device until a new blackra1n version or devteam tool can restore the new ibot.

1)Make sure your ipod is connected to the pc via usb (you shuould hear a dah dum( microsoft sound) if you do that means you are in DFU MODE
2)hold the on/off and the home button for 10 seconds
after 10 seconds release the home and on/off button and press the on/off button for two seconds
    your iphone should start up
