iPhone firmware 3.1.1 Scheduled on September 25th!

If you haven’t noticed the firmware revisions yesterday, then look what Apple released yesterday. iPhone OS 3.1 and iPod touch OS 3.1.1 isn’t that strange. MuscleNerd replied a user on Twitter, he says, as we already know that the iPod Touch firmware version is 3.1.1, and 3.1 for the iPhone, but adds, further, that the version 3.1.1 should come out September 25, therefore, only sixteen days after the last release. Ok now question is why September 25 answer is, AT&T promised to release MMS by default on 25th September and on these basis we can expect 3.1.1 very soon.

An unasked question rises: why Apple has made available an enhanced version only for iPod Touch and then release the iPhone version postponing? Perhaps because of their error, or because there will be some bugs not yet fixed, however the issue remains somewhat strange.

So… I just installed the MMS update from iTunes, and obviously it un-jailbroke my 3Gs. Will I eventually be able to jailbreak it to use Cydia and Icy again? I’m just not sure by what I’ve read what I need to do…

Maybe version 3.1.1 will be released to fix a Vodafone IT bug. That means that Vodafone system charge costumers because data connections even if you can use internet with iphone only subscribing a weekly iphone datapack of 3 euros. Without datapack u cannot use internet and is impossible pay for it without datapack. Network normally won’t allow to connect
