I am having the same problem I think, I boot the CD then I press F8 and type in -v busratio = 20, it starts to start up but then the computer restarts, has anyone had this problem and fixed it?

Has anybody tried to upgrade to OSX 10.6? Not a fresh install of Snow Leopard but an upgrade of 10.5.8 to SnowL?

My problem is with the sound, it works fine when I use the nvidia 8800GT, but with ATI HD4870 the sound doesnet work, I dont know is it some thing in kext of the video card to do all the mess or someting else, done cuple of full install and every time the same thing, the hd4870 works great but for now I`l be using 8800GT

Im having troubles with mine. The pc just reboots every time and it wont even go into the menu part. as soon as i alter the bios for AHCI

does anyone know why?

I got it up and running
