Hi Mr. Vinay

Hows life treating you,hope things are going well on your end of the world.

I have a few questions. Let me mention the details.

1st. I got 3GS (16GB) (Factory unlocked)

2nd. Version 3.1.3(7E18)

3rd. Model (MC132AB)

4th. Modem Firmware (05.12.01)

Questions.

1st. I want to get cydia on it. I did a little research on youtube and found softwares but all say it works with old BootRoms. Now i have no idea what a bootrom is,and what was the old one.

2nd. If i use those softwares(snow breeze) to jailbrake it,will my original software that is factory unlocked deleted permenantly?

3rd. If at some point i want the original software that i currently hold(Factory unlocked) want it back,how can i get it?

4th. By jailbreaking a custom firmware is installed on the device,will it still be factory unlocked?. I travel alot so not to have a device that supports sims of all regions..

Hi Guys,
I have an iPhone 3Gs 16gb (firmware 3.0.1) and I am interested in upgrading to the latest firmware (i.e. 3.1). Can anyone please let me know if their is a crack/unlock software available that can unlock/jailbreak the latest firmware?

Hello,
I have never updated my Iphone 3G since i got it in October 2008. I had it jailbroken, but still running on OS 2.2. Problem: there are less and less apps that I can use as they all need the OS 3.0.
The person who did the jailbreak on my phone charged me a fortune and I am not about to pay that much again to jailbreak my phone. However, I lack the knowledge to do it myself. So far the ‘simple’ instructions are way to technical for me. Can anyone help me with instructions on how to update my phone in simple and plain english? I would really appreciate it so much. Thanks! Suggest you sync your contacts, apps, etc… Then general -Reset – Reset all Content & Settings and start over.

Ok, so I have an iPhone 2G that was running on 2.0.1 firmware. I decided to update to firmware 3.1.2 after browsing the web and seeing how easy people made it seem. I first downloaded the IPhone1,2_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw and went through iTunes to restore and completed all the steps (shift+restore then open ipsw file). Then I ran blackra1n after iTunes was finished and showed the usb connect to iTunes on the phone and ran and rebooted it through the blackra1n. Then intalled cydia and rock through blackra1n app on phone, then installed bootneuter. It updated perfectly, but as I started reading, the ipsw file I used was for an iPhone 3G. I didn’t think anything of it until I tried sending a text message. I can’t send text! I can recieve, but cant send. I also have trouble with sending e-mail and sending mms, it just wont send. So I tried the process all over again, this time with iPhone1,1_3.1.2_Restore.ipsw. I still cant send any messages. Can someone please please help me? Oh, and I’m using a t-mobile sim, I don’t have an at&t one.
