so after applying the patch to my 3.0 iphone 2g, my phone is stuck on the boot logo, and after a few minutes it'll quickly restart again and stay on the boot logo. any ideas as to why?

Hi Vinay,
I am alittle confused at this post..my email gets "pushed"...I have a 2g EDGE iphone, jailbroken and unlocked using redsn0w on a PC running XP, so I now have OS3.0
What is the advantage of this? getting a notification? I may be being dense here.... Maybe some one else can help me figure out what I'm missing..
Thanks! I am always excited to see a new post...

Nope it doesn't work i followed the guide to the word. Any suggestions I will still be playing with it reinstalling uninstalling to see if it will ever work. BTW I have activated MMS would that be a problem I didn't see a warning about that ( and remembered that MMS wouldn't work when I had AsBattery could this be the same thing ??? ).

my microsoft exchange email has stopped working after installing this patch... its account cannot be verified even after i set it ip exactly as before. after installing this patch the passcode from iphone was automatically removed (its required for MS exchange) and also my gmail and yahoo passwords were also deleted. what is this?

Just curious, does the 3G work with push notification without this patch? Does an iPhone 3G need a similar patch?
