i need some help regarding the battery problem . the battery of my phone does not work for a day . some suggest me to update the software to the new version. idoes not last for the day even. so i request u to please help me out of this problem.Even i want to know how i can make the internet settings manually pleasesend me regarding this in my mail.

Hello there, i need some help, i already upgrade my 2g 1.1.4 to 3.0. For 2 months it just work so fine. Suddenly, my iphone show no sim. When take out n put back, NO SIM CARD INSTALLED. What should i do? Other progrm that installed works… hope u can help me solve this matter. Tq

hey i have an iphone 2g….unofficially unlocked its yet 1.1.1 and i want to upgrade it now so since i hav a new laptop my library of itunes is blank….i wanted to know that if i upgrade to OS 3.0 directly….wil i loose my contacts messages and all d data in the phone??
if yes then is there any way to back up my entire data befo upgrading?
plz help me!!

HELLO, I DID EVERYTHING AS U SAID UP TO THE DOWGRADING WITH QUCKPWN STEP…BUT AFTER THAT MY PHONE IS JUST STUCK ON THE START UP BLACK SCREEN WITH THE APPLE LOGO!! WHAT HAPPENED? HOW CAN I FIX THIS????

Hey Vinay….

I’m probably very late to update to 3.0 firmware now, but this is my problem.

I have an iphone 2G firmware 2.2.1 and want to upgrade to 3.0
Looked around but didn’t find any method to update to 3.1 from 2.2.1 on the 2g phone.

I already have itunes 9.0 installed.
Is there some way to upgrade from 2.2.1 to 3.1 on the 2G phone? If not, can I safely upgrade my phone to 3.0 using itunes 9.0?

Hey Vinay;

I upgraded my unlocked & jailbreaked iphone 2g from 2.0 to 3.0.1 using itunes 8.0.2.20… so as expected it got locked… I tried to jailbreak it using redsnow 0.8, but no luck at all…

can u give me some advice plz, I’m really feeling desperate right now.
