To Disassemble Palm Pre you need to have a small Phillips screw driver, small flathead, pliers, solder iron, exacto razor & safe open tool. A report from Engadget indicates that the total hardware cost of Palm Pre is not more than 170$. Rapidrepair was the very first one who published the Teardown photos.
