I have a 2g it’s jailbroken but I need it to be unlocked. Can anyone help me? It picks up tmobile network but says selected network is restricted. can I just add some source in cydia? Is there a fix???

I’ve jailbroken my iphone 3g but without a AT&T sim card i have no wiFi or internet connection to run cydia. what do i do?

I got this problem with the 05.11.07
I made the fault pushing the iTunes-update-button
now i cleard it but i can’t use it as a phone
it’s sim-locked…

I have a iphone 2g 3.0 and i get through the whole redsn0w process but as soon as it gets to downloading jailbreak data it just sits there the little circle doesn’t even pop up i need help please if you can help me please email me what to do vontewiaz@yahoo.com

hey ive got an iphone 3g version 3.0 FIRMWARE basebrand 04.28.00 I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING YOU HAVE MENTIONED IN URE FORUM HAVE GONE THROUGH EACH AND EVERY STEPS 10 TIMES ATLEAST YET MY NETWORK KEEPS ON GOING AND THERE IS NO SERVICE IN MY IPHONE 3G. I HAD PURCHASED IT WITH ATNT SERVICE IN THE USA IN INDIA I CANNOT GET SERVICE IN MUMBAI ON ANY NETWORKS.
PLEASE HELP ME I DONT MIND PAYING TO GET THIS PHONE WORKING AT ANY COST.
IVE TRIED USING A CUSTOMIZED IPSW SOFTWARE 3.0 AND THEN USING REDSNOW IVE INSTALLED CYDIE AND THEN USING REDSNOW INSTALLED ULTRASNOW INSTALLED IT TOO YET NO SUCCESS 3G WAS KEPT OFF WHILE UNLOCKING…. THE NETWORK KEEPS GOING AWAY NOW AND THEN AND SOMETIMES CATCHES WITH AIRPLANE ON OFF SWITCHING MULTIPLE TIMES PLEASE HELP ME !!!

i tried to jailbreak and unlock my 3g 3.0 but i cannot do it i used redsnow 8.0 to jailbreak ( after the process cydia is comming but even after i unlock the phone with ultrasnow i am not gettin service for rogers

please some one help me !!!

quick update! i used a t-moble sim now i get signal but i can’t phone anyone or take incoming calls… can anyone advise??

I have the same problem,

whenever i go to cydia – manage – edit – and try to add http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com (both with a zero and ‘/’) a message appears saying “did not find repository….etc”.

i have updated to OS 3.0, jailbroken with redsnow v.08, selected “Install Cydia” only, restored backups, rebooted my iphone 3G numerous times..

i dont have any carriers signals, the no service message is constant.

Please, can some one provide a solution to this… ive searched all over the net and couldnt retrieve any info.

Moreover, i tried browsing the repo on the net but that doesnt work either. Is the link actually down? or is there someother issue that needs to be looked into? all i can say is that my jailbreak and update were fine.

please help.

I’m trying to unlock my 3G but when I’m at step 7 it shows ” did not find repository” and even says to contact with author of cydia??? can u please help me out!!!???
