If you are hanging at the ‘Waiting for Reboot’ screen, simply unplug your phone and plug it back into the sync cable and everything should resume. (courtesy of iphone-dev).

Hello I have the original Iphone I believe the 2g. I would like to go with another carrier but dont want to give up my Iphone. Can I jailbreak and unlock it and what are the pros and cons and where do I start … I thank you in advance. I hope this is possible.

I have iphone 3g and updated and I jailbreak my iphone and unlock my phone, but then the App. started not working, I can only use phone, msg, camera and safari…So I restore my phone now. But I want to know why it happened. and should I jailbreak my phone but not unlock it?
PS…the 3.0 firmware ipswunable to sownload and nor recognized.

From where can I download the Qucikpwn, Pwnage application for Windows? I am having iphone 3g and firmware 2.2.1, baseband 2.30.03 (bl 5.9). I am planning to upgrade tp os 3.0 and then jailbreak and then unlock using ultrasn0w. please let me know whether this can be done?

@ PeteDeno Use jailbreak and unlock on your own risk, in my case i m using iPhone 2G from 2 years and iPhone 3G from last one year. Both are unlocked and jailbreaked and working very well for me.

I have a iphone 3g that is on the ATT Network. I am going to Europe and want to be able to use another carrier while there. What do I need to do? Also what is the difference between; jail breaking and unlocking? how do I do all of the above? if I jail break and unlock can i restore to the original condition for warranty?
