yeah, the problem still with mine is that when i plug the USB adapter in, it does not even recognise my iphone as anything at all… like i haven’t even plugged it in.
SOLVED~!!
My Problem was. When I plugged my iPhone 3GS in, The Windows Recognized it as a Camera Digital, but the Itunes don’t show up, and I can’t see the Apple Mobile Device on USB Controllers. So you gotta go to Imagining Devices (Camera Devices) and you’ll see Apple Mobile there.. Update it in Advanced Mode and direct it to
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.
After it’s updated, the iPhone will appear on USB Device and on iTunes of course.
Hello there
After repeated atempts i still cant get my pc (vista) and itunes to connect to my mew Iphone.
I’ve followed a lot of advice…..
…removed Itunes, rebooted and reinstalled
…gone to the ‘services’ menu and tried to restart the ‘apple mobile divice’, which starts ‘restarting’ and then says ‘…started and then stopped. some services stop automaticaly if they are not in use by other services or programmes’
….then on someones advice I uninstalled all the Apple and Itunes programmes, rebooted, emptied the trash, diconected firewall, reinstalled Itunes to my desktop, disconected the internet, installed Itunes and only then plugged the phone in and still the same message about ‘this apple mobile device hasnt been started yet’ !!!!!!!!!!!
can anyone help !!!!!!!!!!!! please
Im at my friends house and am trying to jailbrake his ipod touch 2g. we have itunes 8.1, but when we plug it in, it dosent detect it! i dont want to install the latest version of itunes cause then the jailbrake wont work. Can someone plaese reply and help me!
Thanks Vinay!
I’ve tried it a couple of times but it doesn’t seem to work, something else must be going on, plus itunes takes forever to start…it won’t open through the shortcut and sometimes it takes a few times to get it started from the start menu…
I’ll keep playing around with it…
