RiP Dev Releases Desktop Installer App for Windows.
As RipDev promised Windows version of InstallerApp is available for download. With Desktop Installer you can downloadand install App available in both Cydia and Installer and the action is controlled through your PC. InstallerApp is a native Mac OS X and Windows application that allows you easily downloadapplications from Installer and Cydia directly onto your computer, and install them to the iPhone connected with USB cable. Now you don’t have to make a choice between alternative installers, you can get the best of both worlds, Installer and Cydia — InstallerApp supports both! Just add a your favorite repository in the Preferences window and application will automatically recognize its type and will show the packages from that repository, so you’ll be able todownload packages to your computer and install them to a USB-connnected iPhone.
InstallerApp for Microsoft Windows requires a PC with at least 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM, Microsoft Windows XP or later (even Windows Seven is supported though it’s not out yet). Both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows versions are supported. You also need iTunes 8.1.1.10 (available at itunes.com) and Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 or Advanced. InstallerApp supports first generation iPhone and iPhone 3G — as of this moment iPod touch is not supported. iPhone firmware 3.0 will be supported shortly after jailbreak for it is released.

Hi,
I have installed InstallerApp on windows XP. I have iPhone 3G (firmware 3.0).
Whenever I connect iPhone to my laptop, InstallerApp (if open) crashes.
I am not able to do anything on iPhone using InstallerApp.
Is this a known issue?
Any solution??
Please advise.
I have the same issue as Sanjay help would be greatly apreciated
I also have the same issue as Sanjay, and experience it on both of my XP Pro computers. My iphone is actually a 3G Version 3.0.1 (7A400), firmware 04.26.08, jailbroken w/redsn0w. I am suspecting that Ripdev is working to get Installerapp working w/this version and will issue an update asap, but I don’t know this to be a fact.
