I installed the 10.5.7 combo upgrade, and it seemed to go off without a hitch. However, I can no longer scroll or drag windows without it messing up the window contents. If I drag, it appears that the window itself moves, but the contents do not move with it. If I scroll a window (Safari, for example), the contents don't scroll. If I resize or minimize/restore the window, the contents show correctly. However, those are the only two methods that I have found that fix the contents.

This happens with ALL windows - Finder file lists, websites in Safari, etc.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

Ok I tried to install both of the kernels using the upgradetool kit and the Usb family kext (cant remember the proper name) and 'remove kernel' and it did the same thing, except this time when i started in safe mode, it got past the jnl: unknown-dev..... and came up with "HFS: Removed 1 orphaned unlinked files or directories and stopped there!?

Please help me!!!

I can't get my update to 10.5.7 to work!
I tried Viking's way of install the update, but when i try boot after install it came up with 'Extension "com.apple.driver.iTunesPhoneDriver" has no explicit kernel dependency: using version 6.0'
So I tried using -x -v (which is safemode, right?) on boot and it just stopped at 'jnl: unknown-dev: journal replay done.'
Please help me out here!

I also am not sure what things to install when I use the Upgrade Toolkit!?
