How to Install the Icy Installer for iPhone.

6 April 2009 by Vinay 13 Comments

Icy Installer from RipDev is an alternative for Cydia. The Icy installer is compatible with existing Cydia repositories and will remain free. Icy is fast, lightweight and more slick solution that is easy and cool to use. Do you think Cydia is slow in case of mine i do. For most of the time, it takes over 30s (sometimes even a minute) to launch Cydia. If you think so then give a try to the new Icy installer. You can check featues of Icy Installer here. You can Install it through Cydia. Here we have a simple to follow step by step visual guide on how to install Icy on iPhone. All you need is an iPhone Jailbroken with Cydia.

Hey… I did exactly what you said I should do but when I exit Cydia it doesn’t show Icy. I have an iPhone 1st generation with 3.0.1.
Is there anyone with a solution?

RiPDevs apt.ripdev.com source isnt working because RiPDev is gone. Since a website is shut down if not modified for so long, ripdev hasnt edited their source so it was shut down. Sad to say but the truth
