iPod Shuffle 4GB Rumor’s Floating in Air.
Apple’s online stores have gone down for product updates. Mr X of Macrumor forum indicates that the downtime is for new iPod Shuffle 4GB. Mr.X. was right the last time Mac mini, Mac Pro and iMac launch. As Mr X stated “ This is Mr.X. Again, As some of you may notice the Apple Stores are down. This is because of another product release. iPod Shuffle 4GB Black Product Code: MC164 and iPod Shuffle 4GB Silver Product Code : MB867. When the store comes back online. New iPod Shuffle 4GB in Black and Silver. It will use a new dock/sync cable.” If this really is true and Apple are releasing something new this week, there’s been some sort of activity from Apple every week for the past month or more.
The current iPod Shuffle second generation model weighs about 15 grams (0.55 ounces). It was introduced in September 2006 along with the revamped fifth generation iPod Classic and the second generation iPod Nano.

I like the new shuffle except that the earphones needed to use break every other month. Then you’re stuck because the shuffle has no buttons, you’re forced to get another pair of these earphones. It would be nice if you put the controls back on the shuffle so you could use regular earphones that work!
